The DSAT Tec Trimix Diver course takes you to the outer edges of technical deep diving, opening the door to pristine dive sites few divers – if any – ever see. This is truly the edge of diving exploration where you push beyond the limits and become part of an elite group of divers. This is the True NO LIMITS level of diving where you can dive to any depth and become a true explorer.

Prerequisites

To qualify for the DSAT Tec Trimix Course, you must be:

18 years of age or older.

Certified as a DSAT Tec Trimix 65 Diver

Have 150 Logged Dives

Course Details

The DSAT Tec Trimix Diver course is intended to extend the depth range available to technical divers trained and qualified to use Trimix, air, enriched air and oxygen for technical decompression dives beyond 65 metres in open water. The DSAT Tec Trimix Diver course is intended for technical divers certified as DSAT Tec Deep Divers (or qualifying certification from another training organization). The course extends their depth range capabilities by training them in the use of trimix (helium, oxygen and nitrogen). This is truly a course on the cutting edge of exploration.

After successful completion of the DSAT Tec Trimix Diver course you'll be able to conduct gas-switch extended no-decompression dives, decompression dives and accelerated decompression dives using Trimix, air and enriched air to almost any appropriate depth ( the course is limited to 75 metres.) You'll also understand the hazards and risks involved in technical diving, as well as how to prepare for and handle reasonable foreseeable technical diving emergencies. Its goals are:

	To qualify the diver to plan and to make dives using open circuit scuba with various trimix blends, air, enriched air and oxygen using technical diving equipment and procedures required to manage the risks involved.
	To train the diver in the motor skills required for technical trimix diving
	To assure the diver understands and acknowledges the hazards and risks involved with technical diving in general and trimix diving in particular, as well as the limits of the training received in this course.
	To train the diver to prepare for and respond to the reasonably foreseeable emergencies that may occur in this type of diving.
	To provide the foundational skills and knowledge for further training and experience in technical diving.

Course Costs

The DSAT Tec Trimix Diver course offered at Scuba Zone Koh Chang includes:

	16 hours of classroom lecture (minimum)
	DSAT Tec Trimix Crew Pack and course materials
	One Open Water training dive
	Four Open Water Trimix training Dives
	Pool dives as needed
	All Trimix, Nitrox, Oxygen and air fills for the course.
